Unknown ferrite core memory cube (2)
Purpose and description
Memory cubes from an unknown computer, perhaps something from the ASVT-M series. The cubes were connected to each other by bundles of wires, the side ends are closed crosswise with wires.
Internal structure and specifications
Each cube consists of 52 ferrite matrices, each of which contains 4096 ferrite rings. Ferrite field is four groups 32 by 32 each. The memory capacity of each cube is 26 kilobytes.
Additional information
The manufacturer or developer is unknown. The dates for the winter 1972/1973 are printed on the frames of the matrices.
