"Cube-4096" ferrite core memory unit
Purpose and description
"Cube-4096" is the RAM of the AM-A-02F multichannel amplitude analyzer. Structurally, it is a metal case that opens like a book. Inside there are two double-sided boards contain ferrite matrices and additional electronic components. The connection to the amplitude analyzer takes place through two connectors through cables.
Internal structure and specifications
Consists of 24 ferrite matrices (six per page), where each matrix contains 4096 ferrite rings (16 groups of 16 by 16). The memory capacity of one matrix is 4096 bits, the total memory of the device is 12 kilobytes.
