A-35 missile defense system ferrite core memory unit
Purpose and description
A ferrite random access memory module from the A-35 anti-missile defense complex. It consists of two bonded printed circuit boards on which frames with ferrite cores are mounted. The cores are covered with protective transparent plexiglass, on the sides of the frames there are connector plugs. Diode decoders are installed from the ends of the module in the amount of 32 diodes on each side.
Internal structure and specifications
The ferrite matrices on each side of the module organized is two groups, each 16 by 16. Thus, there are 1024 cores on the entire module, which is 128 bytes. Memory organization type 2D.
